On January 17, 2025, Sunwoon Law Firm signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the College of Law at Gyeongsang National University (GNU) at the mock courtroom of the Daegyeong Academic Hall, marking a new step toward supporting the growth of law students and enhancing legal services in the Gyeongnam region.
This agreement, as part of ESG management, was established to foster future legal professionals through cooperation with educational institutions based on legal expertise, while also exploring practical ways to develop together with the local community.
1. Integration of Legal Expertise and Education
Sunwoon Law Firm plans to support a variety of programs that allow law students to gain practical experience and explore career paths. Through these opportunities, students will receive substantial support for entering the legal profession, while contributing alongside GNU to raising the quality of legal services in the Gyeongnam region.
Under the agreement, the two institutions will promote various cooperative initiatives, including:
Collaboration for law students’ career exploration and entry into the legal profession
Support for the establishment of a Gyeongnam-style law school
Joint organization of symposia and seminars
Provision of field experience through visitation programs
